Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate core platform capabilities, enabling engineers to build, deploy, and operate data applications at scale.
• Develop and maintain integrations between the platform and internal systems, ensuring secure, reliable access.
• Design and operate secure data access patterns, ensuring trustworthy data governance.
• Identify and automate recurring support patterns to enhance self-service for platform users.
• Improve observability and incident response through telemetry, alerting, and log infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call coverage and triage production incidents across platform services.
• Contribute to the design of next-generation platform capabilities, including semantic layer infrastructure.
• Maintain high standards in code review, design, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with cloud analytical data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
• Experience with containerized applications and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Ability to build platforms that enhance developer productivity.
• Comfort building integrations between systems for secure data flow.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for reliable platform services.
• Operational ownership with strong instincts for system instrumentation.
