Overview

Arkose Labs seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join their Detection Team, which is instrumental in building and managing real-time services for their fraud deterrence platform, Arkose Titan. This role involves developing high-throughput, low-latency systems to enhance security and protect consumers globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Own complex detection features from ambiguous requirements to production rollout.
• Build and enhance high-throughput, low-latency services for processing risk signals globally.
• Work across the technology stack, from browser-side telemetry to backend services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams that rely on detection signals.
• Design automated testing strategies to prevent regressions.
• Participate in architectural discussions for new detection capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to hiring through technical interviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production backend services using Go, Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Strong background in cloud-hosted microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid database experience with both relational and NoSQL systems.
• Knowledge of web and HTTP fundamentals, including DNS and caching.
• Experience in designing automated testing strategies.
• Ability to transform ambiguous problems into reliable systems.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
