Key Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to develop an industry-leading search engine.

Requirements

• Professional experience with search or vector databases and algorithms like HNSW or IVF.
• Solid skills in core Java, with knowledge of data structures and concurrency.
• Ability to work autonomously, guiding projects from design to implementation.
• Experience in collaborative development, including asynchronous communication.
• Familiarity with data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Proven ability to use AI in development and debugging processes.
• Capacity to navigate across different projects and teams based on priorities.
