Overview
The role involves joining Elastic as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on the Elasticsearch - Storage Engine team. This fully remote team develops core storage and query technologies for observability workloads, emphasizing storage efficiency and query performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural evolution of core storage engine components, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Drive initiatives for building industry-leading observability solutions.
- Collaborate with a distributed team on Elasticsearch's logs and metrics capabilities.
- Introduce best practices for clean coding standards and improve architectural clarity.
- Act as a subject matter expert and technical advisor within the engineering organization.

Requirements
