Senior Technical Program Manager @Affirm

Overview

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. The Senior Technical Program Manager will oversee high visibility planning programs, streamline processes for building and delivering products, and manage complex initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive complex, multi-disciplinary, and highly visible transformation & operational programs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategy, priorities, and decisions.
• Implement lean processes to improve effectiveness and promote a culture of continuous iteration.
• Establish data-driven operational frameworks to assess portfolio performance against OKRs.
• Develop communication strategies to ensure seamless information flow across the organization.
• Partner with teams to plan change requirements, manage risks, and drive efficiency.
• Identify and experiment with new ideas to address systemic inefficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of proven experience managing programs and change management in a technology-focused environment.
• Strong technical background with understanding of software development processes.
• Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams strategically.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills across various teams.
• Track record of implementing frameworks at scale in a remote-friendly culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in FinTech, Payments or Commerce is a plus.
