Overview

The Staff Product Designer role at Brex involves collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to enhance product design standards, driving financial innovation through user-focused design.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and execute the vision for team initiatives using creative thinking.
• Challenge the status quo and drive innovation.
• Efficiently ship products that have a significant impact on the business and customers.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and influence product and design outcomes.
• Engage in all stages of product development, ensuring operational components for onboarding are established.
• Contribute to the growth and scaling of design across the company.
• Maintain a high design standard and level of execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Engineering, Product, Operations, and Data teams, to define and launch new features.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, design, and product management.
• Ability to craft a clear narrative that aligns teams.
• Passion for team building and development.
• 10+ years of experience as a product designer.
• Experience building customer-facing products from 0 to 1.

Benefits

The expected salary range is $240,000 - $300,000, influenced by location, skills, and experience. Equity and other compensation may also be included as part of the package.

Location

This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office located in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York, with potential for up to four weeks of fully remote work each year.
