Overview

The Senior Technical Program Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct data-driven experiments and deliver features for MongoDB. This role involves overseeing a critical program for the fiscal year and managing high-level communications related to the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage technical acumen and analytical skills to advance engineering programs and maximize business value delivery.
• Recognize patterns in data and take appropriate action.
• Design, maintain, and improve processes and tools for program delivery.
• Build strategic partnerships with Product and Engineering stakeholders.
• Mentor junior Technical Program Managers and lead by example.
• Embody MongoDB's core values and leadership principles.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in an engineering organization leading complex cross-functional technical programs.
• 10 years of software development background, particularly with cloud storage and compute products.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills across diverse engineers and stakeholders.
• Highly organized and capable of coordinating multiple independent work streams.
• Experience with project tracking software (e.g., Jira, Rally, MS Project).
• Familiarity with MongoDB or comparable technology.
• Interest in business automation work, including scripting in Python or Google Apps Script.

Location

Hybrid working model available, remote within Ireland, with candidates ideally based in Dublin or Cork.
