    Overview

    Twilio is seeking a Senior Telecom Billing Specialist to join their remote team. This role involves resolving billing issues and investigating fraudulent misuse of services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Advise account managers and management on best practices to handle billing disputes.
    • Negotiate with customers and carriers regarding resolution terms.
    • Identify and analyze fraudulent misuse and billing errors.
    • Oversee the lifecycle of customer and vendor disputes.
    • Uncover and resolve discrepancies in billing.
    • Analyze call and messaging data to find evidence of fraud.
    • Build dashboards to communicate key metrics related to disputes.
    • Interpret contracts to determine correct invoicing.
    • Act as the primary negotiator for dispute resolutions.
    • Collaborate with data analytics, engineering, and accounting teams.

    Requirements

    • 8+ years of experience in telecom billing, revenue assurance, or CPaaS fraud operations.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in dispute negotiations.
    • Experience in project management and data handling (Excel / Google Sheets, Looker, SQL).
    • Understanding of the A2P SMS ecosystem and industry standards related to fraud.
    • Knowledge of Call Detail Records (CDRs) and dispute management.
    • Experience with data analysis tools and workflow platforms.
