Key Responsibilities

• Establish and prove a comprehensive commercial playbook including pricing frameworks, SOW templates, and partnership structures for AI engagements.
• Close multiple complex AI engagements, ensuring smooth handoffs to delivery teams and accountability for commercial commitments.
• Build trust with retailer stakeholders at the VP level and above, running disciplined deal processes.
• Ensure efficient internal deal processes, avoiding bottlenecks in legal, finance, and executive approvals.
• Feed market intelligence from negotiations back to leadership to shape pricing models and go-to-market approaches.

Requirements

Must-have pantry staples (Minimum Qualifications)

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, commercial partnerships, or business development with a track record of closing complex high-value deals.
• Ability to negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements and understand contract terms and pricing mechanics.
• Experience navigating enterprise procurement processes across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and executive presence for credible conversations with VP-level+ stakeholders.
• Energized by building and operating in early-stage commercial functions.
