Overview

This program offers a role as a Programme Officer focused on Digital Economic Empowerment, aimed at improving employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people with disabilities in Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to partners delivering digital economy and IT training modules.
• Coordinating the establishment and effective operation of IT academies.
• Developing and monitoring implementation plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Supporting participant mobilisation and learner retention.
• Engaging various stakeholders to strengthen inclusive employment pathways.
• Assisting with monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities through data collection and reporting.
• Supporting financial and administrative processes.
• Identifying operational risks and ensuring safeguarding and ethical programme delivery.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (economics, development studies, etc.).
• Experience supporting programme implementation in digital skills, entrepreneurship, or financial inclusion.
• Knowledge of Ghana’s digital economy and barriers for persons with disabilities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in IT and data reporting.
• Commitment to inclusion and ethical standards.
