Overview
Neo4j is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and enterprise sales. This role focuses on executing a strategic sales plan in the Northeast US, aiming for revenue growth and new customer acquisition in a whitespace enterprise territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan targeting key organizations to build a robust pipeline and achieve sales objectives.
- Become an expert in product offerings and industry solutions, delivering demos, presentations, and proposals that highlight business value.
- Position solutions effectively through deep market knowledge, emphasizing advantages over competing technologies.
- Lead complex sales cycles with a solution-based strategy, managing the full sales process from prospecting to closing.
- Guide Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and align on target accounts for support in pipeline development.
- Maintain accurate information within the CRM system and ensure data integrity.
- Develop partnerships with public cloud providers to drive growth opportunities.
- Create and maintain a quarterly pipeline in a whitespace territory.
Requirements
- 7+ years of proven success in enterprise software sales with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Experience managing complex sales processes in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields.
- Ability to independently develop and close new client relationships while managing long-term engagements.
- Understanding of commercial open-source business models and expertise in sales strategies tailored to specific industries.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.
- Skills in executive selling aligned with industry use cases and solutions.
Benefits
- Annual salary range between $280,000 and $330,000 USD.
- Eligibility for stock option grants and annual bonuses.
