Staff Technical Program Manager @MongoDB

Overview

The Staff Technical Program Manager will partner with key stakeholders in Engineering, Product, Product Design, Marketing, and Analytics to conduct data-driven experiments and deliver features for MongoDB. This role involves leading critical programs and managing executive-level communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage technical acumen and analytical skills to drive engineering programs forward.
• Recognize patterns in information and take corresponding actions.
• Design, maintain, and improve processes and tools for program delivery.
• Build strategic partnerships with Product and Engineering stakeholders.
• Act as a mentor to junior Technical Program Managers (TPMs).
• Embodiment of MongoDB's core values and leadership principles.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in an engineering organization leading complex cross-functional technical programs.
• 10 years of software development experience with Cloud storage and compute products.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Able to communicate effectively across diverse engineers and stakeholders.
• Hyper-organized, capable of coordinating across multiple independent work streams.
• Familiar with project tracking software (e.g., Jira, Rally, MS Project).
• Knowledge of MongoDB or comparable technology.
• Interest in business automation, scripting in Python, Google Apps Script, and Slack.

Location

This role is hybrid with requirements to be based in Dublin or Cork. Remote work is also allowed within Ireland.
