    Overview

    Blockchain is a global crypto company connecting the world to the future of finance. The company is seeking an experienced Stock Plan Administrator to manage global equity programs during a pivotal time of potential transition from a private to a public company.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the day-to-day administration of the company’s global equity plan (stock options, RSUs, etc.) on the Carta platform.
    • Process all equity-related transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Lead all equity administration aspects related to the company’s transition to a public entity.
    • Develop and implement public company processes, including trading window administration and 10b5-1 trading plans.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all questions related to equity awards and policies.
    • Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Finance teams for seamless data flow regarding payroll and tax implications.
    • Prepare and reconcile equity data for internal and external reporting, including support for public filings.
    • Partner with transfer agents and outside counsel to maintain robust stock administration infrastructure.
    • Develop educational materials to help employees understand the value of their equity.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable securities laws and regulations.

    Requirements

    • 5-8 years of direct experience in stock plan administration.
    • Experience managing equity plans through a company’s transition from private to public.
    • Deep expertise with equity administration platforms, particularly Carta.
    • Strong knowledge of public company equity administration and SEC regulations.
    • Familiarity with accounting and tax implications of equity compensation plans.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
    • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation is preferred.
