Strategic Account Executive, Select Accounts @Mixpanel

Overview

The role of Strategic Account Executive at Mixpanel focuses on managing the company’s most complex and valuable accounts. Mixpanel is a leader in product intelligence and analytics, supporting over 29,000 organizations in understanding customer interactions with their products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and execute account plans that align Mixpanel's offerings with customers' business objectives.
• Develop multi-threaded relationships with stakeholders across all levels, from practitioners to C-suite.
• Conduct regular business reviews to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
• Identify and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Prospect and secure new logos from a designated target list.
• Apply a disciplined sales process incorporating MEDDPICC for qualification.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers on product demonstrations that enhance deal closures.
• Work with Customer Success to ensure ongoing customer value post-sale.
• Provide feedback to Product teams based on customer insights.
• Mentor other Account Executives and develop standardized team processes for account management.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large, complex accounts in enterprise SaaS.
• History of closing seven-figure deals with extended sales cycles.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships at the VP and C-suite levels.
• Experience using MEDDPICC as a coaching framework.
• Strong problem-solving skills in complex account scenarios.
• Mentoring or coaching experience with other Account Executives.
• Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Track record of enhancing sales processes and playbooks.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and events.
