Overview

The Senior Program Manager will provide overall leadership, coordination, and oversight of all program activities within Bauchi State. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in donor-funded programs and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of the state annual workplans, budgets, activity schedules, and implementation strategies.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective action plans.
Serve as the primary program liaison with state ministries, local government areas, and implementing partners.
Conduct regular supervision visits to local government areas to assess progress and ensure quality.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.
Minimum of seven to ten years of progressive experience managing donor-funded programs.
Demonstrated experience overseeing statewide or local government area-based programs.
Knowledge of donor requirements including FCDO, USAID, END Fund, UNICEF, WHO, and the Global Fund.
