Overview
The Senior Program Manager will provide overall leadership, coordination, and oversight of all program activities within Bauchi State. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in donor-funded programs and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the state annual workplans, budgets, activity schedules, and implementation strategies.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective action plans.
- Serve as the primary program liaison with state ministries, local government areas, and implementing partners.
- Conduct regular supervision visits to local government areas to assess progress and ensure quality.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven to ten years of progressive experience managing donor-funded programs.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing statewide or local government area-based programs.
- Knowledge of donor requirements including FCDO, USAID, END Fund, UNICEF, WHO, and the Global Fund.
