Overview

The role is for a Tech Lead position in the Agent Framework team at Elastic, focusing on observability. The candidate will be responsible for the architecture and evolution of Elastic's agent layer to support the Streams model.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable architecture for the agent layer and evaluate new technologies to enhance performance.

• Facilitate collaboration across teams and identify potential risks to project success.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical lead or principal engineer on a significant software project.
• Deep knowledge of observability data collection, including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Solid background in Go programming.
• Experience in designing management and control planes for distributed software.
• Ability to transition between different projects and work with various teams.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce trustworthy design documents.
