Overview

The Tech Ops Systems Engineer/SysAdmin (Mac) role at Kustomer involves owning much of the internal tech stack, streamlining systems, and improving the way teams work. This hybrid position requires problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to automate and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Aim for zero tickets by proactively eliminating friction through automation and thoughtful system design.
• Provide rapid resolution for technical challenges while driving deflection through knowledge base design and automation.
• Manage hardware operations including Mac provisioning, zero-touch onboarding, and inventory lifecycle.
• Champion a SaaS ecosystem including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and others.
• Implement technical improvements to scale the TechOps function.
• Audit systems with the Security team to strengthen compliance posture.
• Document operational knowledge and create accessible self-service materials.
• Manage tooling strategy and vendor relations to eliminate friction and shadow IT.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
• 2+ years supporting Google Workspace, MacOS, Okta, and Jamf Pro.
• Strong customer experience mindset and attention to detail.
• Experience with automated SaaS stacks and basic networking.
• Understanding of AI applications in TechOps.
• Experience with security and compliance principles.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to grow in a fast-paced environment.
