Overview

The Bseisu – University of Glasgow Scholarship aims to support talented students from the Middle East in pursuing postgraduate STEM Master’s programs at the University of Glasgow for the 2026/27 academic year. This scholarship is a collaboration between the University of Glasgow and the Amjad & Suha Bseisu Foundation.

Eligibility

• Hold a firm conditional or unconditional offer for full-time study at the University of Glasgow for the 2026/27 academic year.
• Be a national of Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, or Syria.
• Applications are for Postgraduate Taught (PGT) Master’s programmes within the College of Science and Engineering.
• Not available for PgDip, PgCert, or online distance programs.

Benefits

• Full tuition fee waiver.
• £12,000 per year for study-related costs.
• Coverage for visa fees and the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS).
• Return flight expenses.
• Two scholarships will be awarded for the 2026/27 intake.

Prospective students are encouraged to apply to their chosen Master’s program first. Applications for the scholarship must be submitted via the University of Glasgow scholarships page. Shortlisted applicants will be reviewed based on academic merit, clarity of purpose, and potential contribution to their fields.
