The European Commission Blue Book Traineeship Programme 2026 is a prestigious opportunity for graduates to gain practical experience within the European Union. Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must have completed at least a three-year higher education degree equivalent to a Bachelor’s level. They must not have more than six weeks of prior work experience within any EU institution or body.

For the Administrative Traineeship, candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in at least two EU official languages, including one working language such as English, French, or German. Non-EU applicants are required to have proficiency in one procedural language.

For the Translation Traineeship, applicants must be able to translate into their main language from at least two other EU languages, with one being English, French, or German.
