Candidate Requirements and Preferred Expertise

Minimum qualifications include:

A university degree in political science, law, sociology, public administration, or a related social science discipline
At least five years of relevant professional experience in research or policy analysis
Experience coordinating multi-country or donor-funded research projects
Expertise in qualitative research methodologies such as:
- Comparative case studies
- Process tracing
- Key informant interviews

Salary range: EUR 42,000–59,000 gross annually
Placement within Transparency International’s internal PF2 salary band structure
