    Areas of Focus

    The Foundation prioritizes initiatives that align with two key pillars:

    • Building Career Pathways to Economic Mobility: Helping adults gain skills and training for long-term financial stability.
    • Strengthening Small Businesses: Funding programs that help small businesses start, grow, and contribute to community development.

    Types of Projects Funded

    The Foundation focuses on sustainable, one-time investments. Examples of eligible funding needs include:

    • Launch of new programs

    • Capital needs that directly support program delivery

    Capital Campaign Consideration

    Capital campaign requests may be eligible if the project aligns with the Foundation’s mission and priorities, and at least 60% of the fundraising goal has already been secured.

    There are three annual grant cycles with the following application deadlines and notification periods:

    • March 31 → Applicants notified in July
    • July 31 → Applicants notified in November
    • November 30 → Applicants notified in April
