Overview

The World Trade Organization (WTO) is recruiting an Information Management Specialist to enhance the digital information ecosystem and manage the organization’s documentation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Classifying, cataloguing, indexing, and describing diverse information resources.
Supporting the development and improvement of WTO information management systems.
Contributing to long-term digital preservation strategies.
Responding to enquiries from WTO Members and the public.
Planning and delivering training sessions on WTO information systems.
Assisting with processing notifications and official correspondence.

Requirements

Advanced university degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related fields.
Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in information management.
Strong knowledge of information organisation and retrieval systems.
Familiarity with structured documentation formats such as XML.
Excellent command of English (oral and written); knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an advantage.
