Overview

The role of Account Executive - Strategic at HackerRank is focused on driving New Business deals with large organizations in North America. This position is designed for sales professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a strong bias for action.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive outbound motion by identifying and engaging with customers needing HackerRank’s Developer Skills Platform solutions.
• Partner with the Growth Team to identify opportunities and generate demand with strategic prospects.
• Close deals and deliver revenue to grow the business.
• Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers in Talent Acquisition, Engineering, HR, L&D, and technical leadership.
• Provide feedback to the product team as the voice of the customer.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline visibility focusing on deal execution and customer health.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, HRTech, or EdTech.
• Proven success in an early-stage startup environment.
• Strong hunting and deal-closing skills with a track record in winning new business.
• Experience selling to Talent Acquisition, HR, L&D, and technical leadership.
• Excellent negotiation skills to ensure successful deal execution.
• Ability to adapt strategies based on customer feedback.

Benefits

The role includes an incentive-based pay structure, with potential total annual earnings ranging from $200,000 to $250,000, including base salary and bonuses based on quota attainment.

Location

This is a remote position available to candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Seattle, with flexible office work options for those in the Bay Area.
