Analytics Lead, Full Stack @Affirm

Overview

Affirm is looking for an Analytics Lead, Full Stack to support the growth strategy for major platform partnerships. This role involves driving growth opportunities, shaping product decisions, and measuring the impact of key initiatives, with collaboration across various teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the analytics portfolio for a significant product, defining success and measuring impact across customer experience, growth, risk, and profitability.
• Lead complex analyses balancing growth, credit performance, customer experience, and unit economics.
• Translate analytical findings into clear narratives to aid leadership decisions.
• Tackle ambiguous problems by designing actionable experiments to validate product-market fit.
• Influence across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Revenue areas to build alignment.
• Build scalable data models, metrics, dashboards, and AI-assisted analytical workflows for trusted insights.
• Mentor analysts and develop reusable analytical practices and tools.

Requirements

• General Manager mindset with strong product and credit risk judgment.
• Understanding of consumer lending, lending economics, portfolio performance, and credit metrics.
• Ability to perform complex analyses and provide actionable business recommendations.
• Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• 6+ years of experience in an analytical role affecting significant decisions.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills including statistical analysis and A/B testing experience.
• Experience with AI-powered tools for analysis and workflow automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively rigorous field; advanced degree is a plus.
