    About the Organization

New Incentives – All Babies Are Equal Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing child mortality in Nigeria. The organization implements evidence-based interventions, particularly conditional cash transfer programmes, to encourage caregivers to complete routine immunization schedules for their infants.

Working in collaboration with State Primary Healthcare Development Boards across Northern Nigeria, New Incentives addresses barriers to vaccination uptake and improves health outcomes for vulnerable populations.

    Programme Context

Over the past decade, Nigeria has significantly improved access to vaccines for infants. However, despite increased supply, demand for vaccination services remains low in many regions.

New Incentives bridges this gap by providing conditional cash transfers to caregivers, encouraging them to complete their children’s immunization schedules. These incentives help offset transportation costs and income loss, ultimately increasing immunization coverage and protecting children from preventable diseases.
