Role Overview

EISS is currently recruiting experienced and result-driven Area Business Managers to oversee sales operations and drive business growth across multiple regions in Nigeria.

The successful candidates will be responsible for leading regional sales teams, improving portfolio performance, and expanding market presence within their assigned territories. This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen and proven experience in financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and manage Senior Sales Executives and Territory Managers within the assigned region
• Drive sales performance, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across the territory
• Develop and implement effective market penetration and territory growth strategies
• Monitor loan or sales portfolio performance and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Support recovery efforts and manage risk within the portfolio where necessary
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to management
• Ensure alignment with company policies, procedures, and strategic objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or territory management within the financial services sector
• Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing sales teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and business targets
• Good understanding of financial products, market dynamics, and customer behavior
