Job Summary

The Manager / Deputy Manager – Interior & MEP will oversee and coordinate all onsite construction and interior fit-out activities. The role requires providing technical leadership across civil works, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage contractors, and ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and execution phases.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all onsite construction and interior works
Oversee finishing works including civil, woodwork, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and firefighting systems
Supervise engineering teams and ensure efficient execution of tasks
Conduct regular project review meetings to monitor progress and address challenges
Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve technical issues
Ensure materials and equipment meet quality and quantity standards
Review and interpret engineering drawings, identifying discrepancies where necessary
Liaise with design teams to obtain drawings, revisions, and specifications
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
Prepare and verify contractor measurements, valuations, and final accounts
Coordinate material submissions and approvals with stakeholders
Enforce compliance with safety standards and company policies
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum of 7–10 years relevant experience in construction, interior, and MEP works
Proven experience in project execution and site management
Strong knowledge of building construction, interior fit-outs, and MEP coordination
Experience in contractor management, quantity surveying, and contract administration
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications

Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of modern interior design trends and materials
Experience working on hospitality projects, high-rise buildings, or townships
Exposure to landscaping projects is an added advantage
