Overview

This role offers an opportunity to strengthen Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) strategies to support polio eradication and routine immunization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality communication materials for diverse audiences.
• Manage social media content and visibility efforts.
• Build and maintain relationships with local media.
• Support advocacy efforts and effective communication during campaigns.
• Train staff and partners on communication strategies.
• Collaborate with health agencies and organizations to enhance RCCE interventions.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and documentation of success stories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, or related field.
• At least five years of experience in development or humanitarian programming.
• Experience in health or immunization-related communication, particularly polio programmes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Canva).
• Excellent writing and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and cultural sensitivity.
