Overview

This position offers an opportunity to be part of Save the Children’s humanitarian operations in Borno State, focusing on the safe transportation of staff and goods to aid vulnerable communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Save the Children vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of personnel and materials.
• Maintain vehicles in excellent mechanical condition through regular inspections.
• Keep accurate mileage and log records, submitting monthly reports.
• Ensure all vehicle documentation is valid and safety equipment is maintained.
• Adhere to traffic regulations and organizational safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of O’Level qualification with an NCE certificate.
• Valid driving license (Classes B, C, and D) held for at least three years.
• At least three years of relevant driving experience, preferably with an international NGO.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hausa.
• Basic IT literacy and familiarity with field routes and operational areas.
