    Overview

    This position offers experienced public health professionals the opportunity to contribute to Nigeria's national immunization goals and strengthen healthcare delivery systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead competency-based training for routine immunization providers in primary and secondary health facilities.
    • Facilitate sessions on vaccine management, cold chain systems, microplanning, injection safety, AEFI surveillance, data quality, and community engagement.
    • Support post-training mentorship, supervision, and performance reviews.
    • Collaborate with national and state-level health authorities and partners under the MCGL-RISE IHP programme.
    • Deliver training reports, facility action plans, supervision tools, and documentation of best practices and lessons learned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Nursing, Medicine, or a related field.
    • 7–10 years of relevant experience in routine immunization and health systems strengthening.
    • Strong expertise in training facilitation, logistics, data management, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
    • Membership in a recognized RI Master Trainers group and familiarity with national immunization policies are advantages.
