Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement planning and conduct market assessments.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with procurement policies and donor regulations.
- Oversee warehouse operations and ensure proper stock management.
- Support efficient distribution of programme supplies.
- Manage fleet operations and ensure optimal vehicle utilization.
- Maintain accurate reporting systems for all supply chain activities.
- Build capacity of supply chain staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Work closely with programme teams for timely project implementation.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in NGO or humanitarian settings; a bachelor's degree with seven years of experience may be considered.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in complex and high-pressure environments.
- Experience in ERP systems and humanitarian logistics is advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS will be an added advantage.
