Overview
The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and World Agroforestry (ICRAF) are seeking a GLF Partnerships and Engagement Officer for a nine-month consultancy contract, with potential for renewal. This role is ideal for candidates in European or African time zones, focusing on global sustainability, ecosystem restoration, and inclusive development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fundraising and resource mobilization strategies, diversifying funding sources and developing innovative financing approaches.
- Manage donor and partner relationships, ensuring strong communication, retention, and expansion, particularly in the Global South.
- Oversee proposal development and compliance, including drafting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Coordinate with GLF leadership to refine the organization's value proposition and align partnership strategies.
- Manage the Salesforce CRM system, track fundraising trends, monitor the funding landscape, and provide data-driven insights.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in a relevant field (e.g., sustainable development).
- Proven experience in partnership engagement and donor relations.
- Experience leading fundraising efforts in NGOs or international organizations.
- Strong research, analytical, and proposal writing skills.
- CRM management experience (Salesforce preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Fluency in English; Spanish and/or French are considered assets.
