Overview

The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and World Agroforestry (ICRAF) are seeking a GLF Partnerships and Engagement Officer for a nine-month consultancy contract, with potential for renewal. This role is ideal for candidates in European or African time zones, focusing on global sustainability, ecosystem restoration, and inclusive development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead fundraising and resource mobilization strategies, diversifying funding sources and developing innovative financing approaches.
Manage donor and partner relationships, ensuring strong communication, retention, and expansion, particularly in the Global South.
Oversee proposal development and compliance, including drafting, budgeting, and reporting.
Coordinate with GLF leadership to refine the organization's value proposition and align partnership strategies.
Manage the Salesforce CRM system, track fundraising trends, monitor the funding landscape, and provide data-driven insights.

Requirements

BSc or MSc in a relevant field (e.g., sustainable development).
Proven experience in partnership engagement and donor relations.
Experience leading fundraising efforts in NGOs or international organizations.
Strong research, analytical, and proposal writing skills.
CRM management experience (Salesforce preferred).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with senior leadership.
Fluency in English; Spanish and/or French are considered assets.
