Cloud Security Engineer @Fin

Overview

Fin is the AI Customer Agent company on a mission to help businesses provide perfect customer experiences. The Cloud Security team is responsible for protecting the platforms that power Fin, working to secure cloud environments and build security foundations that enable teams to operate confidently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS environments.
• Build and maintain protective and detective controls to improve visibility into threats.
• Develop detection engineering capabilities to identify attacker behaviour.
• Lead cloud security investigations and incident response activities.
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation for security incidents.
• Build automation to enhance scalability and reliability of security controls.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to embed security into cloud platforms.
• Develop and improve cloud security standards and best practices.
• Drive security initiatives from problem definition through implementation.
• Assess emerging threats to cloud environments and evolve defensive capabilities.
• Support the secure adoption of AI-assisted software development tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cloud security or security engineering.
• Strong experience in securing and operating production AWS environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and security best practices.
• Experience with detection, monitoring, or threat detection capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in investigating security incidents and leading investigations.
• Strong programming skills and experience building automation or tooling.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to communicate security concepts clearly to engineering teams.
