Cloud Security Engineer @Fin

Overview

Fin is an AI Customer Agent company dedicated to transforming customer service through AI, enabling businesses to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable support at scale. The Cloud Security Engineer will work within the Cloud Security team to protect platforms, secure cloud environments, and manage emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS environments.
• Build and maintain protective and detective controls for threat visibility.
• Develop detection engineering capabilities to identify attacker behavior.
• Lead cloud security investigations and incident response activities.
• Coordinate security incident containment, remediation, and recovery efforts.
• Build automation to improve the effectiveness of security controls.
• Embed security into cloud platforms and engineering practices.
• Develop and improve cloud security standards and best practices.
• Assess emerging threats and evolve defensive capabilities.
• Support the secure adoption of AI-assisted software development tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cloud security and security engineering.
• Strong experience with production AWS environments.
• Understanding of cloud security principles and modern attack techniques.
• Experience with detection, monitoring, and threat detection capabilities.
• Hands-on incident investigation and remediation experience.
• Strong programming skills and automation experience.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices and cloud-native technologies.
• Effective communication and collaboration with engineering teams.
