    Overview

    Action Against Hunger, a globally recognized humanitarian organization, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional for the role of Coach Field Coordinator. This strategic leadership position is based in Nigeria, focusing on mentoring and capacity building in complex and insecure environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide high-level support to ACF’s programming and strategic implementation across the region.
    • Mentor and build capacities of teams, ensuring programmatic activities align with ACF’s mission.
    • Serve as the organization’s key representative at the field level and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
    • Ensure safety and security of ACF personnel, assets, and operations.
    • Full accountability for Finance, Human Resources, and Logistics support functions.
    • Strengthen capacities in reporting, program quality, accountability mechanisms, and knowledge capitalization.
    • Coach teams effectively and foster a collaborative and multicultural working environment.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, International Development, Humanitarian Response, or a related field.
    • A minimum of seven years of experience with international NGOs in similar roles.
    • Experience in insecure or emergency settings is required.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and adapt in challenging conditions.

    Benefits

    • Fixed-term contract under French legislation for six months.
    • Monthly gross salary ranging from €2,597 to €2,968.
    • €200 monthly mentorship allowance.
    • $786 net monthly per diem and living allowance.
    • €450 monthly country allowance and pension insurance contributions for non-French citizens.
    • Comprehensive medical coverage, including health and repatriation insurance.
    • Transportation, accommodation coverage, paid annual leave, and child allowances of up to €6,000 annually.
