    Overview

    The Senior Monitoring and Reporting Officer role at Nutrition International offers an opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to regional programs by strengthening monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supporting the adaptation of Performance Monitoring Frameworks (PMFs) to align with country-specific project needs.
    • Assisting in the development and quality assurance of MEAL plans across regional programs.
    • Contributing to the design and implementation of data collection and reporting tools.
    • Reviewing quarterly performance reports to ensure accuracy, relevance, and data integrity.
    • Supporting the design and execution of monitoring and evaluation surveys.
    • Collaborating with global teams to develop dashboards and analytics systems for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Providing technical guidance on indicator definitions, data quality standards, and reporting templates.
    • Facilitating cross-country learning and collaboration among stakeholders.
    • Delivering remote technical assistance to country teams and partners.

    Requirements

    • A Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Monitoring and Evaluation, Data Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
    • 5–7 years of relevant experience in MEAL roles within international development, public health, or NGO environments.
    • Experience working in low- and middle-income country (LMIC) contexts.
    • Proven ability to develop indicator frameworks, data collection tools, and reporting systems.
    • Strong expertise in data quality assurance and system strengthening.
    • Experience designing and implementing surveys, including sampling strategies.
    • Advanced data analysis skills using tools such as NVIVO, Atlas.ti, DHIS2, PowerBI, or Tableau.
    • Familiarity with donor-funded programs and compliance requirements.
