Overview
Blockchain is a leading global crypto company, connecting the world to the future of finance. The Compliance Analytics Associate will support the day-to-day operations of the company's compliance framework, focusing on transaction monitoring and blockchain investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Use Chainalysis to investigate wallet addresses, transaction histories, and exposure to high-risk entities.
- Define controls for wallet screening, sanctions exposure, and monitor high-risk jurisdictions.
- Investigate Chainalysis alerts and determine next steps based on customer profiles.
- Support the development of transaction monitoring rules and blockchain-related risk indicators.
- Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations by managing the travel rule program.
- Provide guidance and training to other compliance team members on blockchain investigations.
- Work directly with Engineering and Product to automate workflows related to compliance.
- Stay current on emerging AI and automation capabilities in blockchain analytics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Compliance, AML, Financial Crime, KYC, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with Chainalysis and preferably Notabene.
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency transactions and financial crime typologies.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work directly with developers to scope and build compliance tools.
- Relevant compliance qualification such as ICA, ACAMS, or CAMS.
