Overview

Conserve Global is seeking a skilled Part-Time Communications Manager to lead its communications during a critical growth phase, focusing on brand stewardship, ethical storytelling, donor reporting, and digital content management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and implement the communications strategy across all platforms, ensuring brand consistency and strengthening communications systems.
Produce compelling, evidence-based conservation stories, manage multimedia content ethically, and oversee routine content production.
Oversee quarterly progress reports and annual impact reviews, and support donor communications.
Manage the organization's LinkedIn and Instagram presence, maintain the website, and build integrated digital pathways.
Identify visibility and thought leadership opportunities, manage media relationships, and develop core communication materials.
Liaise with field teams, manage external creative partners, and maintain organized workflows, asset libraries, and content calendars.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Conservation, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is desirable.
Minimum 3–5 years of managerial-level experience in communications or content production (5+ years preferred).
Experience in the non-profit or NGO sector is highly beneficial.
Strong conservation literacy or professional experience in the environmental sector.
Demonstrated experience managing brand and communications systems.
Experience supporting donor communications and managing external creative partners is desirable.
Excellent editorial judgement, storytelling ability, and capacity to translate complex material into clear narratives.
Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, with high attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible environment.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
