Overview
Conserve Global is seeking a skilled Part-Time Communications Manager to lead its communications during a critical growth phase, focusing on brand stewardship, ethical storytelling, donor reporting, and digital content management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the communications strategy across all platforms, ensuring brand consistency and strengthening communications systems.
- Produce compelling, evidence-based conservation stories, manage multimedia content ethically, and oversee routine content production.
- Oversee quarterly progress reports and annual impact reviews, and support donor communications.
- Manage the organization's LinkedIn and Instagram presence, maintain the website, and build integrated digital pathways.
- Identify visibility and thought leadership opportunities, manage media relationships, and develop core communication materials.
- Liaise with field teams, manage external creative partners, and maintain organized workflows, asset libraries, and content calendars.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Conservation, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is desirable.
- Minimum 3–5 years of managerial-level experience in communications or content production (5+ years preferred).
- Experience in the non-profit or NGO sector is highly beneficial.
- Strong conservation literacy or professional experience in the environmental sector.
- Demonstrated experience managing brand and communications systems.
- Experience supporting donor communications and managing external creative partners is desirable.
- Excellent editorial judgement, storytelling ability, and capacity to translate complex material into clear narratives.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, with high attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible environment.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
