Overview

The role of Consulting Architect - Security at Elastic involves leading the delivery of Elastic Security projects for government and public sector organizations, focusing on modernizing their SOC, threat detection, and response capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and existing architecture, designing security solution architectures that integrate with their security ecosystem.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of Elastic Security projects, including migrations and greenfield deployments.
• Deploy Elastic platform security, ensuring enterprise-grade architecture.
• Establish detection-as-code practices and apply Elastic's AI capabilities to enhance customer detection and response.
• Mentor other consultants and deliver enablement sessions for customer teams.
• Communicate with stakeholders at various levels to surface opportunities and manage engagements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a consulting architect or similar role in the security domain.
• Experience deploying Elastic Security or comparable SIEM/EDR platforms.
• Strong scripting skills, ideally in Python, and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Eligibility for national security clearance in the country of employment.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite with customers (up to 60% of the time).
• Proficiency in English and the local market language.
