Director of Solutions Architecture-India/ASEAN @ClickHouse

Overview

ClickHouse is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to build, lead, and scale the Solutions Architecture function across India/ASEAN. This role combines technical leadership, customer impact, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale the India & ASEAN Solutions Architecture team, setting technical standards and promoting a customer-first culture.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership to ensure successful outcomes for enterprise and commercial customers.
• Act as a senior technical advisor to customers and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, cloud-native solution designs.
• Guide high-impact proofs of concept (POCs) and reference architectures.
• Promote ClickHouse's vision and value proposition across the APJ market.
• Drive initiatives that help customers transform data into actionable insights.
• Provide field feedback to inform product strategy and roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing role, with management experience.
• Strong background with open-source software business models and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with technical engagement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in fast-growing, high-change environments and building teams.
