    Overview

    The role of Consulting Architect - Security involves leading the delivery of Elastic Security projects for government and public sector organizations. The position requires a strong background in security solutions and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess customer goals and existing architecture, translating them into technical requirements.
    • Design Elastic Security solution architectures integrating with the customer's security ecosystem.
    • Lead hands-on delivery of Elastic Security projects, including deployments and migrations.
    • Deploy and secure the Elastic platform, ensuring proper architecture and hardening for enterprise environments.
    • Architect large-scale data ingestion and develop security content aligned with the customer’s threat landscape.
    • Establish detection-as-code practices and enable Elastic's AI capabilities to enhance detection and response.
    • Identify and deliver new security use cases as customers mature in their cyber defense journey.
    • Communicate confidently with stakeholders up to C-suite level and mentor fellow consultants.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Consulting Architect or in a senior IT leadership role in professional services, ideally in security.
    • Experience deploying Elastic Security or similar SIEM/EDR platforms.
    • Scripting skills in Python and exposure to CI/CD practices.
    • Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and public cloud platforms.
    • Strong customer advocacy and relationship-building skills.
    • Eligibility to obtain national security clearance in the country of employment.
    • Willingness to travel and work onsite with customers (up to 60% of the time).
    • Proficiency in English and the local market language.
