Contract IT Specialist @Customer.io

Overview

Customer.io is seeking a Contract IT Specialist to support its globally distributed IT team. This role is hands-on and involves responding to requests, maintaining systems, and providing support in a fully remote, SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with tier 1–2 IT support across hardware, software, SaaS apps, and remote connectivity.
• Support employee lifecycle workflows such as onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.
• Maintain identity and access management tasks including provisioning and SSO.
• Ensure device fleet health via MDM, including compliance and configuration management.
• Respond to compliance requests through evidence collection and access review preparation.
• Keep operational documentation current and assist on cross-functional requests as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years in IT support, systems administration, or IT operations, preferably at a remote-first SaaS company.
• Hands-on experience with MDM solutions like Kandji, Jamf, or Intune.
• Experience with identity and access management, SSO, and role-based access.
• Comfort with scripting or workflow tools for task automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on macOS; Windows experience is a plus.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO, or HIPAA compliance activities is a plus.

Benefits

This role offers a contracted engagement at $46–54/hr USD, depending on experience, for an estimated 3-month term, with potential for full-time conversion based on performance.
