Overview
Cool Earth is hiring for several hybrid positions to aid in its mission to halt rainforest destruction and combat the climate crisis by working with Indigenous and local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage partner stewardship and communications
- Coordinate partner events and engagement activities
- Maintain CRM records and support administration tasks
- Increase press coverage nationally and internationally
- Build relationships with journalists and broadcasters
- Manage media inquiries and press releases
- Organize media training and respond to press sentiment
- Develop and implement supporter acquisition strategies
- Oversee supporter communications and digital content
- Manage supporter data and campaign performance
- Lead a small team and collaborate across departments
- Develop and execute partnership strategies
- Manage and grow high-net-worth relationships
- Lead team development and cross-department collaboration
- Ensure compliance and reporting standards
Requirements
- Experience in supporter care, customer service, or administration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with CRM systems
- Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills
- Experience in media relations and crisis management
- Knowledge of environmental issues and press tools
- Proven experience in supporter engagement and fundraising campaigns
- Strong digital communication skills
- Experience with data analysis and CRM systems
- Extensive experience in high-value philanthropy or corporate partnerships
- Proven success in securing large gifts and collaborations
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
