Overview

Brex is an intelligent finance platform that enables companies to spend smarter and move faster. The role involves building, scaling, and improving Brex's spend management software products, ensuring compliance with various regulations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the embedded legal partner to engineering, product, and design teams.
• Provide pragmatic, actionable advice on requirements and best practices for spend management software features.
• Advise on regulatory and commercial implications related to product architecture and design.
• Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining customer agreements and disclosures.
• Support data handling and integration for product launches.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in law firms or technology/fintech companies.
• Familiarity with credit, lending, and card laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ownership mentality and comfort with complex issues.
• Law degree and admitted to practice in at least one jurisdiction.

Benefits

Includes a competitive salary range of $220,000-$270,000, with additional forms of compensation based on various factors.

Location

This role is based in a hybrid environment, requiring at least three days in the Seattle office per week and up to four weeks of fully remote work per year.
