Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the embedded legal partner to engineering, product, and design teams building spend management software.
• Provide pragmatic, actionable advice on requirements and best practices for existing and new software features.
• Advise on the regulatory and commercial implications of product architecture, data flows, automation, and AI features.
• Advise cross-functional partners on critical credit, lending, and card network regulatory questions.
• Draft, update, and maintain customer agreements, terms, disclosures, and feature-level terms for software products.
• Support data handling, integration, and partner arrangements as they relate to product launches.

Requirements

• 4+ years working experience in law firms and technology or fintech companies.
• Familiarity with credit, lending, and card laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Law degree and admitted to practice in at least one jurisdiction.

• Competitive salary range of $220,000-$270,000 USD, dependent on various factors.
