Delivery Solutions Architect - Oil & Gas @Databricks

Overview

The role of Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) at Databricks involves collaborating with sales and engineering teams to enhance the adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector. This hybrid position requires both technical and commercial skills to drive customer success and maximize the value of Databricks workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with Solutions Architects to identify use case demand for prioritized customers.
• Lead technical account strategies post-sale for major use cases within strategic accounts.
• Serve as the accountable technical lead for specific use cases across multiple teams.
• Be the initial point of contact for technical questions regarding production status of use cases.
• Coordinate resources for onboarding, enablement, success, and product adoption.
• Develop execution plans covering customer-facing technical roles and activities.
• Create and own strategies for accelerating key use cases into production.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on utilization and customer health.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project/program delivery in Data and AI.
• Programming skills in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in a technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
• Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
• Experience in managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to conduct workshops and create strategic roadmaps.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
