Delivery Solutions Architect - Startups & Emerging Enterprise @Databricks

Overview

At Databricks, the Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) will collaborate with sales and engineering teams to accelerate the adoption and growth of the Databricks platform among Startup and Emerging Enterprise customers. This role is crucial for ensuring customer success by maximizing the value and return on investment from the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with Solutions Architects to understand use case demand for prioritized customers.
• Lead account strategy and execution for designated use cases within strategic accounts.
• Act as the technical leader for specific use cases and manage onboarding and enablement processes.
• Serve as the primary contact for any technical issues related to production or go-live status.
• Utilize shared services and escalate to experts when necessary.
• Create and execute plans to accelerate key use cases into production.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams on product innovations and upgrades.
• Develop execution plans for all customer-facing technical roles across various work streams.
• Provide updates and KPI reporting on usage and customer health.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project or program delivery in Data and AI.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
• Technical program/project management experience.
• Proven experience with complex escalations and managing customer relationships.
• Experience in conducting workshops and managing complex deliveries.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
