Director, Alliance @Databricks

Overview

This senior leadership role will lead Partner Sales for the Central EMEA region, focused on consulting and Systems Integrator (C&SI) partners. The regional leader will build the regional ecosystem strategy and plan aligned with regional and functional priorities, with direct reports including Partner Sales managers/directors in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the regional Alliances/C&SI function, building and developing a high-performing cross-functional team.
• Own the multi-year regional partner territory plan and form a compelling 3-year vision with partner segmentation.
• Manage executive-level partner relationships and build joint business plans.
• Drive joint account planning workshops in top accounts with priority partners.
• Architect the regional partner go-to-market strategy and drive partner-led demand generation.
• Own product-specific partner campaigns aligned to platform priorities.
• Hold strategic SI partners to joint commitments on delivery capability and business development.
• Ensure partner delivery quality governance and resolve escalations.
• Set direction across Sales, Field Engineering, Marketing, and Partner Solution Architecture.
• Use AI tools for pipeline inspection and partner intelligence.

Requirements

• Proven people leader with experience in partner/alliance sales, channel, or GTM at an enterprise software or cloud company.
• Experience working with Global and Regional Systems Integrators at an executive level.
• Demonstrated ability in driving joint account planning workshops.
• Experience leading across Sales, Marketing, and Cloud partners in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to shape business narratives and represent at the CXO level.
• Operational rigor with comfort defining and running OKRs.
• Experience managing partner delivery quality and resolving escalations.
• Deep knowledge of SI business models and industry workflows.
• Fluency with modern AI productivity tools and ability to travel 25–40%.
