Overview
Webflow is seeking a Director of Analytics Engineering to shape the data infrastructure and analytics capabilities of the company. This role involves designing scalable data solutions and enabling data-driven strategies across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own a long-term strategic vision for Webflow's enterprise data architecture.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Analytics Engineers.
- Design and operationalize a unified semantic layer with canonical datasets.
- Define and enforce standards for data modeling, metadata management, and data quality.
- Build and maintain a skills repository for analytics agents.
- Represent Analytics Engineering in strategic discussions and ensure data-informed decision-making.
- Partner with other analytics teams to define trusted metrics and improve data usability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data and analytics engineering with expertise in building scalable data models.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud warehouses (dbt, Snowflake, Tableau).
- Track record of implementing high-quality data models and testing frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing analytics engineering teams.
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences.
