Director, Analytics Engineering @Webflow

Overview

Webflow is seeking a Director of Analytics Engineering to shape the data infrastructure and analytics capabilities of the company. This role involves designing scalable data solutions and enabling data-driven strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own a long-term strategic vision for Webflow's enterprise data architecture.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Analytics Engineers.
• Design and operationalize a unified semantic layer with canonical datasets.
• Define and enforce standards for data modeling, metadata management, and data quality.
• Build and maintain a skills repository for analytics agents.
• Represent Analytics Engineering in strategic discussions and ensure data-informed decision-making.
• Partner with other analytics teams to define trusted metrics and improve data usability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data and analytics engineering with expertise in building scalable data models.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud warehouses (dbt, Snowflake, Tableau).
• Track record of implementing high-quality data models and testing frameworks.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing analytics engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences.
