Key Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Logistics, driving cross-company momentum.
- Partner with executive leadership to define, prioritize, and deliver strategic goals.
- Resolve complex fulfillment challenges and create new products that enhance efficiency and quality.
- Lead, hire, and develop a team of product managers, establishing operational frameworks to build a high-performing team.
- Act as a trusted partner to engineering and ML leadership on technical tradeoffs and strategies.
- Define success metrics, maintain an experimentation portfolio, and utilize data for decision making.
- Lead initiatives that improve organizational health and mentor product managers across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management or relevant experience, with a minimum of 4 years managing product managers.
- Strong systems thinking with the capability to analyze multi-sided marketplace interactions.
- Proven track record in delivering impactful products measured by business outcomes.
- Technical fluency with machine learning and algorithm-driven products.
- Excellent communication skills for influencing leadership and aligning teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and retain high-performing product management teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a multi-sided marketplace and familiarity with algorithms-based products.
- Background in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain management.
- Experience with e-commerce or grocery technology.
Benefits
Instacart offers competitive compensation and benefits tailored to each work location, including a potential equity grant for new hires. For Canadian-based candidates, the base pay is between $259,000 and $273,500 CAD.
Location
This is a remote position, available only to candidates located in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.
