Key Responsibilities

Own the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Logistics, driving cross-company momentum.
Partner with executive leadership to define, prioritize, and deliver strategic goals.
Resolve complex fulfillment challenges and create new products that enhance efficiency and quality.
Lead, hire, and develop a team of product managers, establishing operational frameworks to build a high-performing team.
Act as a trusted partner to engineering and ML leadership on technical tradeoffs and strategies.
Define success metrics, maintain an experimentation portfolio, and utilize data for decision making.
Lead initiatives that improve organizational health and mentor product managers across the organization.

Requirements

10+ years of product management or relevant experience, with a minimum of 4 years managing product managers.
Strong systems thinking with the capability to analyze multi-sided marketplace interactions.
Proven track record in delivering impactful products measured by business outcomes.
Technical fluency with machine learning and algorithm-driven products.
Excellent communication skills for influencing leadership and aligning teams.
Demonstrated ability to build and retain high-performing product management teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a multi-sided marketplace and familiarity with algorithms-based products.
Background in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain management.
Experience with e-commerce or grocery technology.

Benefits

Instacart offers competitive compensation and benefits tailored to each work location, including a potential equity grant for new hires. For Canadian-based candidates, the base pay is between $259,000 and $273,500 CAD.

Location

This is a remote position, available only to candidates located in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.
